GO Car Wash Plants over 66,000 Trees with One Tree Planted
Denver, CO – May 20th, 2022
Earlier this year, GO Car Wash partnered with One Tree Planted, a global reforestation nonprofit organization, to plant a tree for every new Unlimited Monthly Membership sold. GO is excited to announce that since February 2022, GO Car Wash has donated over 66,000 trees in Susanville, California!
GO’s Unlimited Members get to choose where to plant new trees! The benefits of this effort reach far beyond planting trees. Brett Meinberg, COO of GO Car Wash said, “This partnership creates lasting ecological efforts for our beautiful planet. We are grateful for every single member who has joined this world-changing movement.”
One Tree Planted also shared a few of the prominent issues that GO is helping address with the partnership. “The immediate local ecological benefits of reforestation include reduced post-fire erosion, enhanced water quality and quantity, as well as wildlife habitat. The restoration and preservation of watersheds are particularly crucial to California in the face of climate change and in areas with limited water supply. This project takes place in watersheds that are important to state water supply and which have been hard hit by fire.”
