GO Car Wash Welcomes New Executives Focused on Development Strategy and Company Expansion
The board of directors of GO Car Wash, one of the nation’s newest and fastest-growing express car wash brands, has named Joe McDonald as Director of Corporate Development and Chris Andersen as Vice President of Business Development.

McDonald and Andersen collectively bring more than 20 years of experience in the car wash and auto industries. Both have worked for major companies with a nationwide and international presence, and both have been hired to continue GO’s rapid expansion across the United States.
“Adding these two as leaders on our team has come at a crucial point in GO’s growth and development,” Derwin said. “These next few years will bring huge opportunities for our brand to expand rapidly across the country.”
Since 2019, GO Car Wash has grown to nearly 33 sites in major metropolitan areas across 4 states, including Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, and Texas.

From 2017 to 2020, McDonald was the Director of Research and Real Estate for the International Car Wash Group, the world’s largest local car wash conglomerate with more than 890 locations in 14 countries across Europe, the U.S., and Australia. He brings more than 15 years of experience in research and business development to his role, with nearly 10 of those years spent in the auto service and car wash industries.

Andersen brings over 15 years of experience in various sectors of business development. He spent 12 of those years at Hilti, three years at Mark VII Equipment and two years at Berkshire Hathaway. In addition to his experience in business development, Andersen served as a International Car Wash Association Board Member.
